John Wearing
heads the Business Law department. John has attracted an extensive portfolio of high quality commercial clients. Stephen Dalling

Deborah Shaw
has over 15 years' experience in licensing law and is one of the West Midlands leading licensing lawyers. Deborah practices exclusively in the area of liquor, betting, gaming, theatre and late night entertainment licences. Simon Hogan
has over 19 years experience working in commercial property. Working
as an acquisition solicitor he has regularly dealt with multi million
pound transactions or in collaboration with other developers development
sites for eight figure sums. He also has expertise in dealing with
site assemblies and strategic land projects. Recent property transactions
have involved the residential developments at St David Hospital, Cardiff
and at East Glamorgan and the Isis docklands flats development project
in Cardiff. Other major residential developments have included those
at Groundwell West, Downend Bristol, Portbury Park Portishead, Langstone,
Cefyn Hendy, Keynsham, Newport and Davigdor Road Brighton as well as
smaller residential developments in connection with the provision of
affordable housing for Registered Social Landlords include sites at

Ruth Grinbergs
joined the Commercial Property Department of Anthony Collins
Solicitors in March 2003, having previously been a partner with
the London firm of Howard Kennedy. For Ruth, this was a return to
her Midland origins,
as she grew up near Walsall and qualified as a solicitor with the
National Coal Board in Stoke on Trent. Having spent some time working
as an in-house
lawyer in the energy industry (including an involvement in the
Sizewell B nuclear power station inquiry), she moved into private
practice with
the City firm of Norton Rose and has considerable experience in
a wide range of commercial property work. In particular, she does
work for a number
of restaurateurs, including a plc with several hundred restaurants
around the country. She was one of the founding members of the UK
Environmental Law Association of which she was, for a number of years,
its treasurer.

Hilary Harrison
is head of the commercial property dispute team. Hilary has extensive
experience in acting for both landlords and commercial tenants in
complex commercial property disputes. Her areas of expertise include
rent and service charge recoveries, rent review proceedings,
dilapidation claims, enforcement of covenants, boundary disputes and

Tony Hall
heads the personal injury and clinical negligence department. Having previous experience of acting for Health Authority defendants, he acts for claimants in all aspects of medical and personal injury litigation but especially obstetric, GP, cancer misdiagnosis, orthopaedic and brain damage claims. Alan Bean
joined Anthony Collins Solicitors in 2000; he has over
27 years post qualification experience of working as a lawyer in
private practice, 18 as a solicitor and nine as a barrister. He is a public

Simon Ramshaw

Helen Tucker
heads up our housing litigation and training services advising on the whole spectrum of housing management problems that can lead to litigation. Helen leads a large team litigating for social landlords across the country. Andrew Millross
specialises in working for registered social landlords and local
authorities. He has a detailed knowledge and understanding of vires,
constitutional and governance issues affecting local authorities,
registered social landlords, public sector bodies, charities and
voluntary bodies working with them. He also deals with non-contentious
construction and procurement issues for local authorities, new deal for
communities clients, registered social landlords and private clients.
Andrew has recently completed a number of public private partnership
joint venture projects involving local authorities, health authorities
